Shore Capital Stockbrokers are delighted to be acting as Co-Lead Manager on the Sirius Minerals Plc (AIM: SXX) £370 million Underwritten Firm Placing and Placing and Open Offer at 20 pence per share (“the Placing”) which was part of a larger US$1.2 billion capital raise for Sirius Minerals’ Stage 1 financing requirements.

The Placing, conditional on a general meeting to be held on 24 November 2016, was conducted by way of an accelerated book build, announced on 2 November 2016 and closed at 7:00am on 3 November 2016.

The Company is focused on the development of what it believes to be the world’s largest high-grade known polyhalite deposit, located in North Yorkshire.  The Company’s polyhalite product, which it markets under the trade marked name POLY4, is a multi-nutrient fertilizer that can be used to achieve balanced fertilization, which is critical to obtain optimal crop yields and quality.
