Shore Capital acts as Joint Bookrunner and Joint Broker on £22m fundraising for Begbies Traynor

Begbies Traynor, the UK’s leading corporate rescue and recovery practice, has successfully raised £22m via an oversubscribed placing and Primary Bid offer with Shore Capital acting as Joint Bookrunner and Joint Broker.

Begbies intends to use the net proceeds of the fundraise for a proposed acquisition of David Rubin & Partners (“DRP”),  a long-established insolvency practice with offices in London and Guernsey, and other pipeline opportunities.  The earnings enhancing acquisition of DRP represents a significant expansion of Begbies Traynor’s scale in business recovery and financial advisory.
