Howard Shore forecasts business risks for 2020

Appearing on Bloomberg Surveillance on 12 December 2019, Howard Shore discussed the global business outlook going into 2020.

He said:

“There’s always risk out there, it’s a question of managing the risk. The risks that we worry about are the risks that we haven’t thought about. So it’s not the US-China trade war, it’s something coming out of left field that we all haven’t thought about.” (29m)

The interview also covered the Fed’s decision to keep rates steady, US-China relations, fiscal stimulus in Germany, Saudi Aramco and various other geopolitical risks and opportunities that may arise over the next decade.
